Art’s Smokehouse BBQ restaurant was established in 1993, in Rapid City, South Dakota while Art fulfilled his dynamic active duty obligation in the United Sates Air Force. After his retirement he expanded his business to areas to include Coral Springs, Florida, Altamonte Springs, FL, and finally opening the last location in Winter Garden, FL while he was terminally ill.

Bolster the memory of Air Force MSgt. Artis P. Holmes, who passed away in 2012. Art refined the mystery elements for his signature sweet, tart, tomato-based sauce through many years of conveying grilled dishes to potluck suppers at Air Force bases far and wide. Notwithstanding amid his weakest state while lying in his hospital bed Art was still talking about what he did best, concocting some of the best BBQ to ever wet your taste buds.

Even though you can’t get his hickory smoked meats and divine sides any longer, you can in any case welcome the essence of his signature BBQ Sauce that you and your family have delighted in for twenty-one years.
